During 2008, the Company signed an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Bedford Iron Prospect, consisting of 94 mineral claims covering 2,350 hectares, located within the Labrador Trough of northeastern Newfoundland and Labrador, 25 kilometres northwest of Schefferville on the east side of Howells River. The Company also staked an additional 82 mineral claims totaling 2,050 hectares, directly adjacent to the Bedford Iron Prospect claims, bringing the land package of newly acquired claims to 4,400 hectares. The Company contracted MPX Geophysics Ltd. to conduct a 670 line kilometre aero-magnetic helicopter survey of the property. The results of the survey identified a number of linear magnetic anomalies, several of which are coincident with magnetite iron formation identified in the field.
