Adriana - MIE Project Field Program Commences

Adriana Resources Inc. ("Adriana") - TSXV:ADI is pleased to announce the commencement of its spring field program on the MIE project in Nunavut, Canada. Adriana's exploration focus on the MIE Project is magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE massive sulphides associated with the Muskox Intrusion, and sediment hosted Uranium mineralization in the adjacent Hornby Bay Basin.

The Company has contracted Crone Geophysics and Exploration Ltd. to conduct SQUID Pulse-EM surveys over selected target areas on the McGregor Lake Property and the All Night Lake Property of the MIE Project. The Crone Geophysics crew is now on site. Under the "information exchange agreement" with Unor Inc. (TSXV:UNI) announced on March 6, 2006 the geophysical crew is based at Unor's camp facilities while geophysical surveys are conducted for both Unor and Adriana.

The Crone Pulse-EM (PEM) survey will incorporate the use of a CSIRO High Temperature SQUID Magnetic Sensor. This system is useful for detecting conductors at depth or that are masked by shallow formational conductors that interfere with the response from deeper conductors. Another benefit of the SQUID PEM system is that it can detect and discern highly conductive rock units, such as massive Ni-Cu bearing sulphides, more readily than conventional Time Domain EM (TEM) surveys.

The Company has now received a final report from Condor Consulting Inc., recognized experts in the field of airborne electromagnetics. Condor performed advanced data processing and detailed interpretations of the VTEM airborne survey conducted over the All Night Lake Property by Geotech Ltd. in the summer of 2005. The final results are most encouraging as several conductive zones thought to be representative of Ni-Cu-PGE sulphide accumulations were identified within the layered series of the Muskox Intrusion. Furthermore, a conductive zone that is interpreted to be a formational graphitic layer within the Dismal Lakes Group sediments is a target for potential stratiform uranium mineralization.

Permit applications for drilling and the construction of camp facilities to support subsequent exploration phases have been filed with all the necessary regulatory bodies in Nunavut. Mr. Wilf Struck, P.Eng., an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has approved the technical content of this News Release.
